Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC), commonly known as Toyota, is a multinational corporation with headquarter in Toyota City, Aichi, Japan. Toyota is the world’s largest automobile manufacturer by sales.

Toyota, founded by Kiichiro Toyoda in August 28, 1937, is a spinoff to create automobiles from his father’s company Toyota Industries. The Type A engine was its first product, and in 1936, its first passenger car was the Toyota AA.

The formation on the automobile brands that the Toyota Group develops and produces, along with automobile-related businesses include: Toyota, Lexus, Hino and Daihatsu; along with several “non-automotive” companies: Housing, Financial Activities, ITS, GAZOO, Marine, Biotechnology & Afforestation and New Business Enterprises. The Toyota Group is one of the largest conglomerates in the world.
